UT STEM Girl Day
Every year UT Women in STEM (WiSTEM) hosts STEM Girl Day to promote K-8 student interest in STEM fields through hands on activities with local scientists.
The 2024 event had more than 10,000 participants and TX SWMS held a table with live corals and anemones, as well as skeletons, fish jaws, and a large freshwater shrimp specimen! To read more about STEM Girl Day and this years event check out the UT WiSTEM webpage linked below.
